Winter Season

Better known as our "Secret Season", winter time in the Cashiers area can offer the perfect getaway for a cozy weekend in the mountains.

Enjoy a day of hiking or waterfall chasing without the summer crowds, spend a relaxing afternoon drinking hot wine or cocoa beside a fireplace, or go skiing in our very own Sapphire Ski Slopes.

Cashiers is a year-round destination with more and more shops and restaurants now staying open throughout the winter season as well.

In Winter season and when there is a chance of snow or ice we recommend having an all wheel drive vehicle as small roads in the area may not be treated as fast and/or may be steep.
